Brushing is Life

One of the easiest things you can do to maintain healthy teeth is to brush them at least twice a day. Brush at a 45-degree angle and make sure to brush all surfaces of the teeth, as well as the gum line. Also, make sure to brush the roof of your mouth and the tongue to prevent bad breath. You should be brushing for a minimum of 2-3 minutes at least twice a day.

Don’t Forget About Flossing

Many people think that brushing is all they really need to do to keep teeth clean but even the bristles of your toothbrush can’t thoroughly clean between teeth. Avoid Tobacco

This should go without saying, but if you want to do a big favor for your oral health then stay away from tobacco products or quit as soon as possible. Limit Sodas and Sugar

If you are someone who is addicted to soft drinks then you may find yourself prone to decay and stained teeth. Sodas contain an exorbitant amount of sugar along with acids, which can break down healthy enamel and lead to cavities. Candies, cakes and other sweets can also cause serious issues for your smile, so enjoy these treats in moderation.

Maintain a Healthy Diet

Your diet should be providing your mouth with all the proper nutrients it needs to stay healthy. From calcium found in dairy products to Vitamin B found in dark leafy greens, all of these nutrients can help promote strong teeth, gums and bones.
